    • In 1972 Vinos de los Herederos del Marques de Riscal became the driving force behind the setting up of the Reuda appellation, making fresh, crisp and fruity wines to satisfy a new trend in international taste. This new style of wine-making could only be achieved in wineries equipped with the most modern technology, ensuring that all the aromas enclosed in the grapes were preserved Continious evolution and innovation has enabled Marques de Riscal to harness the vineyards' full potential. Made from the flowery and herbaceous Verdejo grape, the wine is fresh and aromatic with notes of citrus, blossom and fennel. It is fermented for 20 days in stainless steel vats at a controlled temparature between 13 and 16 C in order to ensure freshness. This wine pairs well with fish and shellfish, white meats and pasta dishes or with a selection of cold red meats.
