So what will I actually be doing?
Facilitate product registration and liaises with the respective government regulatory bodies like Bureau of Food and Drugs, Bureau of Product Standards or Department of Trade and Industry
Assist warehouse on BFAD/BAI compliance audits and inspections
Process warehouse’s “License to Operate” as Food Manufacturer and Retail Outlet of non-prescription products, and other LTO’s
The nitty gritty
Working in a world-class warehouse, there may be days when things get busy - reports to be submitted, handling of member’s complaints, expiry issues, merchandising issues and some unavoidable situations that comes with the job.
There are also occasions wherein you have to attend and respond to health-related emergency cases but those are just some of the minor things that spice up the role as a pharmacist.
Being an S&R pharmacist isn’t that difficult especially when you love what you’re doing.
